I am a local Singer Dealer and also a major stockholder in the Singer company. These bandits came to a hotel about 5 miles from our store last Thursday. To combat them and to try to save these poor unsuspecting souls, I ran a full page ad in the local paper the same day they were here trying to warn people about this scam. I was successful but there are some people that fall into their trans. By Saturday we were bombarded with phone calls that these hotel bandits had promise instruction and service at our store. Yes, we are in fact a Singer Warranty Service but these hotel bandits are breaking their contract they have with the Singer Company by selling these machines in other dealers territories. So we are told not to service the machines that come from these types of sales. So unfortunanitly we had to turn all of these people away. After speaking with us I would say these bandits should refund about 96% of the machines that they sold. I mean these people were real mad. I remember my mother told me to remember 3 things in life and you will always be ahead. 1. Always wear clean shorts when you go out, because you never know if you'll be in a car accident. 2. Always Listen To The Woman. 3. Never buy anything from anyone that has a store with 4 wheels. If you'll live by this you'll be just fine in life.
