I have the same experience. I saw this ad in local newspaper and I thought this is a great deal. There is a list of singer approved dealer on the ad. So I went the closest store near my home. When I got there, the sales show me three of those school machines. I was so angry, I told her one of these model I have seen selling at Walmart is less than two hundreds dollars. However, your ad said without this ad is $419. I thought it supposed to be a much better machines since it is more than $400. One of them is only have few stitch function. So I told her I must be very stupid if I would buy that. I feel so frustrated not because they really wasted my time and I am also disappointed. So, I call every deals in there ad, each one of them give me different model number of those so call school machines. I really like to contact the singer company and tell them about it.
