Standard Sizes for Quilts
Figuring out what size to make your bed quilt doesn't have to be difficult. The simplest method is to measure the top of your bed and add at least 12 inches on each side. If you plan to sleep under it, you may want more ease, up to 24 inches added to the top measurements.
