Kitchen floor of the Greenleaf Pierce kit. This room measures a wee 8x10 inches. Compare the coffee stirrer floorboards to the commercial "parquet" flooring in the next room (on the right). The kitchen floor has been stained a golden oak color, and may still be wet in this picture.
Things I learned: paint the under-floor dark. In this picture you can see where the white primer shows through the spaces between the dark floorboards. Argh! It's actually not as noticeable now it's finished, but still...
